Krista Adams Santilli, soprano
Lyric soprano Krista Adams Santilli is an
active performer in operas, musicals, concerts
and oratorios. A versatile singer, comfortable
performing various genres of music, she has
sung in Italy, Germany, South Korea, Australia
and throughout the United States.
As Gilda in Rigoletto at the Cheju-do Opera in South Korea
As Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance with the Annapolis Chorale
Concert stage appearances include the soprano soloist for
Bach’s St. John Passion, Mozart’s Grand Mass in c-minor,
Vivaldi’s Gloria and both Haydn’s and Pergolesi’s Stabat
Mater. In 2004, Krista made her Carnegie Hall debut on a
gala concert with Pacific Opera of New York.

Krista has also been an active participant in
competitions and has been recognized at the state-level
Metropolitan Opera Competition, the Rose
PalmaiTenser Vocal Competition (Mobile Opera),
Young Artist's Competition of the Birmingham Music
Club, New Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra
Competition. She was awarded both first prize and the
Galli-Campi Award for the most promising coloratura
in the Connecticut Opera Theatre’s 2005 Amici Vocal
Competition.

Krista enjoys singing patriotic music at sporting and
civic events. She has sung the National Anthem for
Major League Soccer; Minor League Baseball; NCAA
Basketball, Baseball, Gymnastics; etc.
Currently residing with her husband and two children in
Connecticut, Krista cantors at the St. Ann Church in
Bridgeport, CT.

In 2009 Krista started an exciting artistic collaboration
with internationally acclaimed composer and virtuoso
pianist Eric Genuis. Krista appears with Mr Genuis and
other instrumental soloists in an ongoing concert tour
showcasing his vocal and instrumental compositions.
She has performed in more than 50 concerts in the US
and Australia.

Night), Agrippina (Poppea), Suor Angelica (Genovieffa), A
Little Night Music (Anne Egerman), Oklahoma (Laurie
Williams) and Sweeney Todd (Joanna).
